Favorite Seasonal Books & Giveaways

This classic poem is one of my all time favorites; it brings back so many memories of my childhood and the excitement of Santa arriving. (I usually tear up as I read it).   I knew when we had children this would be a Christmas tradition that we would want to share.  ‘Tis a beautifully illustrated book and a wonderful way to introduce the little ones to the magic of Christmas.

This book is a fun read for those adventurous children who want to tackle a book on their own; with tongue twisting rhymes and it is a real page turner.

Most importantly, there are also some real values being discussed. If your child is disappointed about not getting the popular gifts from the store this year, you can remind them that Christmas comes despite all the trappings of gifts, trees, and roast beasts.

I adore this book and fell in love with the movie too. This book is not just for children it is for us adults too. The message that is carried throughout the book is one we all should believe; it touches my hear every time I read it.  This book reminds us not only to believe in the Spirit of Christmas and Santa, but also in ourselves.

  6. The first three were part of our Christmas reading when our children were growing up. I have especially great memories of reading The Night Before Christmas with our children. It became a tradition for one of the children to read it on Christmas Eve (along with the Christmas Story in Luke). I’m very glad we established those family traditions.
