Weekly Intentions

A few words along with some photos to helps us start our week on a strong foundation.Hummingbird in Flight

This is such strange territory for Philip & I our children are away from home this week. The house feels so empty without them. (even Wiggles the dog is blue)

There are two lasting bequests we can give our children. One is roots. The other is wings.

I am going to being playing this one over & over in my head this week.  Who knew allowing them to stretch their wings would be so hard.

  1. I wrote this in an email to someone else about my week last week, but wanted to say the same things to you:

“Sometimes growing into a person more capable is hard while it’s happening” That was what was so hard – you can’t do this for them. You can only hope they can find what they need within them. I have had so many, many insights and conversations with God and gifts from the angels this week. If I can stay in this divine place, I am at peace, and it is enough. However I keep thinking of what “society” says kids need to be prepared for life. And I’m sorry, but it has NOTHING to do with the core curriculum and computer skills!!!!! It’s stories, it’s art, it’s a belief in themselves and something bigger than themselves. And that isn’t anything you can “teach” but something that you can believe and give and trust the fact that it is enough. Because here, on the other side of it, it is enough.

Wishing you many peace-filled moments this week. Let’s talk later or tomorrow.
